All this new promotional stuff for the famous web head has had me super excited. Drawing inspiration from the new poster I’ve sketched up a little something.

codenameswestypants asked: Whats your favorite sketchbook/paper to use? & What is your favorite thing to draw?

Ya know I think I’m yet to find an ultimate type of paper. I suppose anything that takes ink and watercolor fairly well is great to me. You’d think not being a kid any more would mean going out and buying big boy art supplies and maybe stop hijacking paper from peoples printers, but I still find myself doing that from time to time. Which is hilarious. I quite enjoy a good moleskine as well.

As for my favorite thing to draw.. I don’t have a definitive answer for that one. But I can say that I favor drawing in more unconventional ways. The more messy the more fun. My girlfriend often bugs me cause she’ll draw something ( a character perhaps) and work until it’s so beautiful and peaceful and easy on the eye and I follow up with the most disgusting, weird, shabby thing I can conjure up. What can I say? I just like to draw ugly things.

Finally complete! Some of the most intense line work I’ve done in a long while. It’s a pretty big piece and I intend for it to be displayed else where. Therefore within the next few days It’ll be wrapped and lying underneath a lit tree. I’ll hit you folks with the details on the inspiration behind the work after the Holidays. (there’s always that off chance the recipient might  swing by BLOWRKS.

(Hopefully a much better quality photo to come in the future as well. some of the line work around the monkey and hair get a little blurred)

No way man, you’re the fucking king of color. You’ve got some of the most crisp/clean artwork I’ve seen to date. I’m gonna give you a shout out on here, cause people really need to see your stuff. AND POST MORE SHIT UP. I wanna see more Slap tags and character work, that’s some of your best stuff!

I had a funny conversation on my personal blog the other day about me being a bad ass Faun in an alternate universe. So I decided to sketch it up.

little-arizona asked: Holy shit, I love your work! so rad. The details are amazing.

Wham bam thank you ma’am! I’m excited to get back into super detailing, I feel like my most recent stuff has been so lazy. Again, much thanks for your sweet words.

Here’s a sneak peek at a piece I’m working on as a gift for a special someone this Christmas. I’ve been in the mood for some major detailed line work. The subject matter evolves as well as changes as I go along. (HI-Res photo to arrive once I reach completion)

Just a little something I doodled, then later ended up filling in with water color. I used my older sisters face as reference.

causeitsthedankk asked: oh hey this is weird but i saw your tattoo and i was wondering how much you paid for it. i just moved back to philadelphia after being in texas for 7 years i wanna get a tattoo on my thigh but i cant even begin to figure out how much money i need. so i was looking to find out what certain people pay for certain size tattoos

Hey there, no weirdness. I accept everything that comes through my mailbox. Two of my tattoo’s are floating around the tumblr-verse but I’m guessing you’ve seen my flying monkey . From my knowledge you’re charged based on time and not actual size or how much ink has been used. This one took a little under 3 hours to complete. So It cost about 300 bucks. Not including the tip. No Ka Oi Tiki Tattoo on 4th and South st. is where I got this one as well as my other tattoo. It’s a kick ass spot, they’re super professional there and so talented. There’s plenty tattoo shops in Philly but they vary in terms of talent. My advice would be: If you want your tattoo to be spot on and done by the best then expect to pay a pretty penny, It’s well worth it!

My girlfriend got her tattoo at the same place as well, you can check it out here. (hers cost close to 200)

Also, for the tons of you following here. I run a more personal blog, It’s filled with my daily ramblings, photography, GIF animations and even some photoshop artwork, all done by myself.I also take all questions, comments, and concerns (yes, anons as well). The following over there is pretty darn underwhelming, make me happy friends!
